Rick Jordan Jr is the founder and President of RWJ Storage Management. He has been involved in the self storage industry since 2003. He got his start in the self storage industry when a real estate developer and his investors came to him and asked Rick to operate the new self storage facility they had just built. They built the project and then turned the operations and management of it over to him. Rick created the operational procedures, marketing plan, hired and trained a sales staff, and did everything needed to run a successful business. There were, in addition to the property, three other properties leasing up at the same time. Rick's project leased up at a faster rate than those other facilities and was eventually sold to a large company for a profit. He knows what it takes to operate a storage facility in a competitive market. Rick has "been in the trenches" and understand from the inside out what is needed to be successful in the self storage industry.
Rick has since taken his knowledge and applied it to help other storage facilities across the United States improve their manager performance, marketing, operations and increase revenue.
Rick graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management. He likes to run marathons and has competed in the Boston Marathon. He loves to climb mountains and spend time with his family.
Vice President
Gregory M. Ellsworth accepted the position of Vice President with RWJ Storage Management in 2010. Greg’s leadership experience really began when he traveled to Spain in 2005 where he was responsible for the training and management of 180 volunteers in a non-profit organization. In 2007 Greg returned from Spain and founded a corporate and sports related massage therapy business. Before selling the business in 2010, it had expanded significantly and had clients in multiple states, had completed contracts with several universities, and had consulted with and provided services to members of the U.S. Olympic Speed Skating team. Greg understands what it takes to develop a team of employees and grow a business with a keen eye for optimizing profits. Additionally, as a licensed real estate professional Greg has the ability to consult with his clients in an effort to enhance and maximize the future value of his client’s properties. Greg completed his under-graduated degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University. Greg is proud to be a part of a strong, experienced and innovative management team at RWJ Storage Management that manages and provided consulting services to multiple storage facilities across the United States.
